Kids Enjoy Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Every year children, most wearing their Easter best, flock to Avalon’s Easter Egg Hunt, and this year was no exception. The City of Avalon’s Recreation Department prepared lots of plastic eggs, stuffed with candy and goodies, for the City’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt, which was held on Saturday, April 4, 2015, on the Sand Trap lawn at 9:00 a.m. sharp.

The lawn was dotted with thousands of brightly colored eggs, and when the children were given permission to start hunting eggs, they quickly scooped them up. This free event was done in just over five minutes, but afterwards there was lots of time for the children to have their pictures taken with the Easter bunny and show off all the eggs they found.
